Galaxy S8: Samsung's First-Ever Dual-Screen Phone with Smart Glow; Battery Fixed; Only Months to Go before Release Date [RUMOR]

By

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 soon. The tech giant could make the wrongs, right - by making everything better.

Samsung Galaxy S8 rumored specifications: 4K display and foldable?

Investigating the leaks and rants circulating through the web, the Galaxy S8 is rumored to sport 4K UHD display. This would be one of the best VR-ready smartphone with 5.5 inch screen.

Galaxy S8 could sport dual-screen display as the tech giant has already filed a patent regarding the technology. Will it be a foldable smartphone with hinge? University Herald has also learned that another patent submitted by Samsung includes improved stylus with grip gesture, UV sensor and ultrasonic input.

Samsung might equip the handset with a huge RAM of 6 GB for the gaming purpose and 128 GB of internal storage as well.

Android Nougat out of the box is surely the OS. Other rumored components include USB type C port and dual camera system similar to the iPhone 7 Plus'. It is unclear whether Samsung might follow Apple's path to ditch the earphone jack.

What the rants agree on, is the fact that Samsung will (and should) learn from Note 7 mistakes by fixing the battery issue. Galaxy S8 will have the flaw replaced with much better power consumption and performance.

It is rumored to get Smart Glow feature - which reduces the bluelight significantly for a more comfortable and better viewing.

Samsung Galaxy S8 release date

Not planning to distract the public even more with the Note 7 recall, Samsung could unveil Galaxy S8 earlier than expected. The S7 successor might already have a release date, according to Forbes.

Samsung might launch the Galaxy S8 at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) which will be held on Feb 27 - March 2 in Barcelona.

Is Samsung Galaxy S8 worth the wait?

Many mobile phone users have been disappointed with the iPhone 7- which is said to sport 2014 smartphone specifications. Many have compared it to Google Nexus 6P and the others have decided to wait for Galaxy S8 launch despite the Note 7 huge recalls.

The rants about Galaxy S8 specifications could possibly be the reason as to why people are eagerly waiting for Samsung to launch the handset.

As for now, the fans should wait and see on what Samsung has to offer with its Galaxy S8 next year.
