‘MacBook Pro 2016’ Release Date: No Kaby Lake Laptop for 2016; New MacBook Pro Will Be Launch with ‘iPhone 8’?

"MacBook Pro 2016" with Intel Kaby Lake chipset is near impossible. But reports suggesting that "MacBook Pro 2016" with Skylake has a high probability to be introduced this coming October. For this matter, speculations revealed that new "MacBook Pro" with Intel Kaby Lake will be released with iPhone in 2017.

Valid reports from credible sources are pointing out that "MacBook Pro 2016" will not be pushed through due to the availability of Intel Kaby Lake chipset which is set to be released in 2017. For this reason, The Forbes reported that "MacBook Pro 2016" is likely to be launched in October but not with Kaby Lake but with Skylake processor. Also the newest tweak for the 2016 laptop flagship is the inclusion of AMD graphics processor.

On the other hand, Apple is currently brewing their surprise for the upcoming 10th anniversary of iPhone models. Thus, the launching of a new iPhone model is expected from this. In fact, Mac Rumors has reported about the iPhone 8 which will be launch in the fall of 2017. The two variants Apple iPhone 8 are expected to launch alongside the new "MacBook Pro" with Intel Kaby Lake by next year.

The above speculations are not confirmed by Apple not by Intel since the two companies have not issue any statements regarding the matter. But referencing on the report of The Forbes, "MacBook Pro 2016" is unlikely to get the Kaby Lake chipset this year because the production has already started in the second quarter of 2016.

Furthermore, analysts believed that two variants of "MacBook Pro 2016" are set to be launched in October - 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch. Rumored specs include OLED display-based functions keys, USB-C ports and fingerprint sensors for Touch ID which is situated right next to the function keys. In addition, a newly tweaked 13.3-inch MacBook Air is also expected to debut alongside "MacBook Pro 2016".
