Looks like Samsung is gearing up three more handsets from its eminent A-series namely, the Galaxy A 3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2017). The report seems to make sense as the South Korean technology giant released the iteration of these devices in December last year.

Samsung has remained mum regarding its upcoming devices, but the popular smartphone maker is currently working on three handsets including the Galaxy A3 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017). It would be quite surprising if Samsung unveils these devices in December, as its predecessors were launched at this time of the year, SamMobile reported.

The model numbers of the 2017 iteration of this lineup include SM-A320F (Galaxy A3 2017), SM-A520F (Galaxy A5 2017) and SM-A720F (Galaxy A7 2017). Samsung has not divulged any sort of details regarding the devices' specifications, but the purported devices are said to come with an array of upgrades over their precursors citing the fact that the 2016 iterations were a cut above the first iterations.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) features a 4.7-inch Super-AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixel ( 312 ppi pixel density) and runs on an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. In terms of internal memory, the Galaxy A3 (2016) features 16 GB internal memory which is further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device sports a 13 MP main camera and a 5 MP front shooter and comes with 1.5 GB of RAM. The handset packs a non-removable Li-Ion 2,300mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) sports a 5.2-inch Super-AMOLED capacitive touchscreen 1080 x 1920 pixels ( 424 ppi pixel density). The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by an octa-core processor. As far as internal storage is concerned, the Galaxy A5 (2016) features 16 GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device comes with 2 GB of RAM and sports a 13 MP main camera with f/1.9 and OIS, a 5 MP front shooter, and packs a removable Li-Ion 2,900mAh battery.

The Galaxy A7 (2016) on the other hand features a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and runs on an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. The Galaxy A7 (2016) comes with 16 GB internal memory which is further expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. Moreover, it features a 13 MP main camera with f/1.9, OIS and LED flash, a 5MP front shooter with f/1.9 aperture. The device also packs a robust 3,300mAh battery with fast charging ability, International Business Times reported.

Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 Spotted On Geekbench And Zauba

 The device bearing the code name SM-A520F has been spotted on Geekbench and Zauba, a site that tracks imports and exports in India, where the terminal has been shipped on Friday, August 26 for assessment and R & D purposes, Android Headlines reported.

According to the benchmark results, the Galaxy A5 (2017) packs more RAM as compared to the current model, advancing from 2 GB to 3 GB. Moreover, the impending smartphone is said house Samsung's home-built octa-core Exynos 7880 paired with a Mali-T830 GPU, improving upon the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615. The device's single-core score is 814 and multi-core score is 4396.
