2016 MacBook Pro is suspected to debut a major change in its specs. Some rumored features include OLED touchscreen to replace function keys, Touch ID, USB-C, USB 3.1 with 10GB/sec transfer speed and Thunderbolt 3. The upgrades in 2016 Macbook Pro specs are also suggested to be applicable to the next generations of Mac devices.

2016 MacBook Pro appeared to have spared a space for an OLED touchscreen above its keyboard and four USB-C ports, 9to5mac reported. A report claimed that Apple plans to add a small touchscreen strip to replace the usual top function key row on the Macbook's keyboard. The new touchscreen display could be utilized by Apple for other features such as Touch ID and third-party app integration, reportedly.

Apple is expected to possibly introduce Thunderbolt 3 to its 2016 Macbook Pro. Thunderbolt 3 is suggested to be a great addition to the hardware of Mac devices as it supports both 10GB/sec USB 3.1 and the DisplayPort 1.2.

An ultra-fast second gen USB 3.1 is also suggested to be integrated to the 2016 Macbook Pro as recent reports claimed that the code for the super-fast USB has been found from the beta version of the MacOS. Additionally, it turned out that 2016 Macbook Pro's USB 3.1 support would have a transfer speed of up to 10GB/sec, reportedly.

It is important to note, however, that the USB 3.1 port of Mac devices only supports a transfer speed of up to 5 GB /sec. The OS X El Capitan does not support a 10GB/sec speed on its current port, reportedly. Now that USB 3.1 would start to be integrated in the upcoming Macbook Pro, it may be possible that future Mac devices may sport the same type of port, IB Times reported

2016 Macbook Pro is expected to arrive around Oct. or Nov. However, Apple has not announced any official statement about its official release date yet. Meanwhile, watch this speculated 2016 MacBook Pro features.
