'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 2 Spoilers: Marc Guggenheim Reveal Some Details Regarding Season 2 [VIDEO]

By

Season 2 of The CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" is almost here. With just only a few more months of waiting, fans are even more eager to gain more information of what is going down in the upcoming season. The end of the first season left fans with the defeat of the main antagonist, the immortal Vandal Savage, and the end of the corrupt and conspiring Time Masters.

Now just when you thought all of the conflict in season one was neatly tied-up, it only took them a few minutes in the last episode to create a newer conflict that fans are now excited for. Collider was able to speak with executive producer Marc Guggenheim at the recently concluded TCA Summer Press Tour, and ask him about where season 2 will take the crew of the "Wave Rider."

In a report by Comic Book Movie, when Guggenheim was asked what's next for the Legends, he stated that they plan to explore conflict with more than one major threat, having characters go between series, and the introduction of the Justice Society of America and the Legion of Doom.
Guggenheim also explained that the show encounters many challenges with things being left wide open with last season's final episode. The first thing they have to figure out is how to approach the team's mission statement; what is the reason for the show's existence.

When asked a question about how it feels having John Barrowman, Katie Cassidy and Wentworth Miller in the cast, Guggenheim stated that it is challenging to work around their personal schedules, and that there has to be good ground communication since all of them are still working on the other CW DC shows. They have to work around their schedules to avoid any double bookings.

Season 2 of "Legends of Tomorrow" comes back to The CW on October 13.
