The love triangle shared by Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez), Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) and Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) made the seasons of "Jane The Virgin" crazy. In Season 3. Baldoni promised that it will be crazier. Could it because of the newly introduced cast, who will be Jane's childhood crush?

"Young and the Restless" star Miles Gaston Villanueva was confirmed has joined "Jane The Virgin" Season 3, and he will portray the role of Sam, Michael Austello revealed in his post on TV Line. Sam is the childhood crush of Jane.

Sam came to Jane's life before she met either Michael and Rafael, and he described as "intellectual and sexy." The newly introduced character could be a threat to Rafael and Michael. Although there will be minor cliches, however, the show will add surprising twists.

"After Dusk They Come," Baldoni told Huffington Post that Season 3 is going to be even better, and crazier.

"All I can tell you is that it's going to be crazy! Season three is going to be crazier than season two, which was crazier than season one...so get ready!" Baldoni teased.

In Season 2, Rafael attended the Villanueva-Cordero wedding. He did not try to stop Jane from saying "I Do." Apparently, he accepted that they don't belong with each other, and he decided to focus on  his son Mateo, as well as his child with Petra (Yael Grobglas).

The last episode left such cliffhangers as Michael was shot. In previous a report, it suggests that Michael survive, but he was traumatized that will affect his life with Jane. There is also a report that Jane will have mother-in-law issues. 

"Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will be aired on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9 p.m. on The CW. For more spoilers, keep your tabs on University Hearald.
