Samsung Galaxy Note 7 6G RAM China-Exclusive For Now; South Korea Disappointed With 64GB Memory, 4GB RAM? [UNBOXING VIDEO INSIDE]

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 tablet that sports 6GB of RAM with a built-in storage of 128GB is scheduled to unveil in China. The news was confirmed by Samsung Mobile president Koh Dong-jin himself.

The company executive explained that they have chosen to release the 128GB Samsung Galaxy Note 7 variant in China because Chinese companies are aggressive in marketing devices with high-capacity memory. Koh added that they consider diverse opinions from various regions as to whether that move will disappoint Korean consumers. It is important to note, however, that Samsung Mobile's home market is South Korea.

Reports claim that local consumers are upset that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to be launched in the global market, including South Korea, only carries 64GB built-in memory with 4GB RAM. The device will deploy in Korea through three mobile carriers on Aug. 19 and will be available in three colors such as blue coral, gold platinum and silver titanium. A Samsung Galaxy Note 7 model in black onyx is also set to be released in early October, reportedly.

Along with the announcement of the device's unveiling in China, Koh also confirmed that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will carry the previously rumored iris scanner. Iris scanning is the safest security technology today as iris cannot be reproduced according to Koh, Korea Herald reported.

Meanwhile, sales and pre orders of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in some parts of the world has been delayed due to the unprecedented demand for the device, GSM Arena reported. Samsung has reportedly delayed the scheduled release of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 particularly in Ukraine and Russia, in order for the company to produce more stocks for the upcoming releases in time.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 pre orders in Ukraine and Russia is reportedly set to Sept. 7 instead of Aug.19. The actual sales will then begin on Sept. 30 instead of the previously announced launch date of Sept.2. Watch the Samsung Galaxy Note7 Official Hands-on featuring unboxing & design video here.
