After a very successful 2016 San Diego Comic Con presentation, things are looking-up for Sony and Marvel's upcoming superhero film, "Spider-Man: Homecoming." In a report by Slash Film, those that were in Hall H were treated to a special scene in the movie that concentrated more in the student life of Peter Parker. Although the said scene was only exclusive to those that were present in Hall H and cannot be seen anywhere online, it would be safe to say that the positive reaction of those that saw it even heightened the anticipation level for this movie. The shown footage also confirms Vulture to be among the villains of the movie.

The director of Spider-Man: Homecoming, John Watts, decided to go with a John Hughes approach to the film, adding the elements of a coming of age movie, rather than the traditional superhero flick. This gives a very interesting an unique premise, because as he said, the Peter Parker fans are going to see in the movie is just a teenager, struggling with being surrounded by fellow students and friends that admire Spider-Man, but cannot tell them that the Web-crawler and him are one and the same.

Actor Robert Downey Jr. is going to reprise his role as the Billionaire, Playboy and Philantrophist, Tony Stark AKA Ironman in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Stark's relationship with Parker was developed over the course of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, where the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man made a brief but well-received debut. Fans have speculated that Tony will be more of a mentor to Peter, as was evident with how they interacted in Civil War, and the sudden closeness that Stark had with "hot" Aunt May, played by actress Marisa Tomei, who also starred with RDJ in a movie called, "Only You" way back in 1994.

According to a report by Yibada, there is a possibility that Tony Stark may not be the only Avenger appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming. In a tweet by Spider-man himself, Tom Holland, it seems that actress Scarlett Johansson was seen on the Atlanta set of Homecoming. Johansson, who plays the role of Avenger Natasha Romanoff, Black Widow is rumored to appear in the Sony-Marvel collaboration. There has yet to be any confirmation regarding this, but a Natasha cameo would be a welcomed addition to Spider-Man's first stand-alone movie that is now a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
