In its popular series of special edition phones, Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Games Limited Edition, which is now up for grabs at Best Buy for $850,, an additional $100 above the non-Olympic equivalent.

To give users a closer look, the South Korean smartphone maker released an official unboxing video clip:

The Galaxy S7 Olympic Games Edition sports an Olympics logo at the back side of the device alongside a yellow telephone speaker grille and trim on the home button, red power button, green volume keys, and attractive blue trim that borders the camera lens, each depicting Olympic colors. Moreover, it seems to incorporate an Olympics theme which is not yet accessible via the theme store. The stellar Olympics-themed fringe benefit is a travel case, Android Police reported.

Samsung announced that it would not sell more than 2,016 of the devices across the globe, including the United States, so those interested in getting their hands on the device need to act really quick.

For those who did not already know, the Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Games Limited Edition is being handed out to each Olympian from the United States on the way to Rio this year. Geared with an extremely good camera, great display and featuring IP68 water resistance, the limited edition phone seems to be a perfect device for any Olympian, DroidLife reported.

In other news, Samsung has come back at allegations that its Galaxy S7 Active device is not as watertight as it should be.

The Galaxy S7 Active boasts a waterproof design that claims to keep the phone's innards dry and working even under a range of splashy situations.

A slew of endurance tests have indicated that the phone is still vulnerable to water damage when tested in extreme conditions, ZDNet reported.

In its official response, the South Korean smartphone maker stood behind the S7 Active's waterproof certification noting the device "active passed rigorous tests to ensure IP68 certification for water resistance."
