'Mortal Kombat X' DLC Dubbed Kombat Pack 3 Set To Be Released During EVO [RUMORS]

By

Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment published the 10th installment of the "Mortal Kombat" video game franchise just last year. Rumor mills have been swirling a slew of speculation surrounding another DLC pack slated to be released during the Evolution Championship series (EVO).

If rumors doing rounds online are anything to go by, the creative director of NetherRealm Studios and the co-creator of the game, Ed Boon, dropped some major hints to the huge fanbase of the franchise.

Just last month, Boon, reportedly tweeted about unveiling some details of "Mortal Kombat X" DLC Pack 3 dubbed, "Kombat Pack 3," but he did not confirm the date of when this major announcement will be made, MammothGamers reported.

However, the publication noted a possible date when this big announcement will be made. The report alluded to the fact that in his tweet, Boon capitalized the letter E, V and O, which stirred conversations among the fans of the game who believed the big revelation about the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3" will happen during the upcoming EVO 2016.

Ed Boon took to his Twitter handle (@noobde) and posted a survey from fans. The idea behind the two separate polls was to get some feedback from players. While the first poll gave fans the option to pick among four choices from DLC roster that need revamping, the other too had four options from original cast that could need "some love."

Judging by this, it looks like Boon and the studio have already prepped up something for the latest title in the franchise. Fans will need to wait and see if the purported balance update would end up as Kombat Pack 3 as everyone is anticipating, MovieNewsGuide reported.

Boon recently posted the poll's results showing that fans opted for Subzero from the original roster and Tremor from the DLC fighters.

More than 9000 voters have generally agreed that Tremor could use the most love (from DLC roster) in Mortal Kombat XL." As far as the original roster is concerned, Subzero garnered the highest votes with an impressive 35 percent. Boon also posted the second result on Twitter divulging that 9000+ voters believe Subzero could use most love (from main cast) in Mortal Kombat XL."

While avid "Mortal Kombat X" fans are waiting with bated breath for an official Kombat Pack 3 announcement at EVO 2016, rumors are running rampant that some news coming to "Mortal Kombat X" will touch upon the popular Kombat Pack 3.

Besides, since it looks like Boon may have already confirmed the release date of the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3," fans are already going berserk speculating what characters will be unveiled in the imminent downloadable content.

If rumors proved to be true, Sindel, Fujin, and Smoke may be added in the game via "Kombat Pack 3."

Rumors mills are also churning speculations hinting that Jade, Li Mei and Rain may be included in the much-anticipated DLC pack as well. Boon has opted to remain mum and has neither confirmed nor denied whether the aforementioned characters will actually be included in the "Mortal Kombat X" "Kombat Pack 3.

Until confirmed, fans are recommended to take these rumors with a grain of salt.
