"The Flash" Season 3 will have a new cast member and a new speedster.

The recent reveal that The CW's, "The Flash' Season 3 will finally give one of their characters, Wally West something to do. Some images have surfaced showing actor Keiynan Lonsdale donning a costume similar to that of Kid Flash. The images are from the set of the filming of season 3, and has fans excited for what is next.

With the promise of an epic new season through the use of the Flashpoint story arc, and now the reveal of Kid Flash's inclusion in its story line, a reveal of the formidable opponent or dire event that our hero has to face should be well underway. Recent news and images that were leaked seems to point to that, according to Hidden Remote.

In a report done by Yibada, the season 3 of "The Flash" had just recently cast "The Vampire Diaries" alum, Todd Lasance to portray the role a new and still unknown speedster. There are however photographs that have been leaked showing Lonsdale in costume walking side by side with a speedster wearing a black costume very reminiscent of that worn by Jack Kirby's DC creation known as The Black Racer. Unfortunately, there have still been no confirmation if Lasance will be playing the avatar of death that hunts those with relations to the speed force.

The Black Racer's appearance on Central City may have to do with the fact that Barry Allen has messed with the timeline to save his mother's life.

Lasance could also be a non-metahuman character, since in an interview with DC Entertainment has said he has heard whispers that there will be a big baddie for season 3, but could very well be a normal human.

Just recently, news of the casting of Tom Felton for season 3 of "The Flash" has been made public, and started fan rumors that he may play the role of the non-metahuman villain that Gustin was hinting to. The addition of the Kid Flash and the Black Racer could very well show that the story arc for season 3 may be even bigger than fans may expect.

Season 3 of The CW's The Flash dashes back to the small screen this coming October 4, 2017.
