'Street Fighter Five' News: Capcom Reveals Barlos, Teases Juri and Urien

By

Capcom made an important announcement last weekend about the upcoming characters of Street Figther 5 at CEO 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

Street Fighter V includes new characters Balrog and Ibuki. The two characters were delayed for unknown reasons, and now Capcom's Street Fighter team decided to include them in an update, MXDWN reported.

In the official Street Fighter's Youtube channel, they posted a video trailer that introduces Balrog.

Balrog was known as a ruthless boxer before he joined M. Bison's crime syndicate. He was removed from sports because of vicious and illegal fighting style. After that, Bison picked him to serve as Shadaloo's enforcer.

The first appearance of Belrog was in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, where he was one of M.Bison's Four Kings of Shadaloo alongside Sagat, Vega, and M.Bison, himself. His main goal is to fight Shadaloo's enemies and attain health.

He used to be a boss character and he was the reason why arcade-goers were eager or motivated reaching the game's boss circuit. Soon, he became a playable character in later installments of Street Fighter II.

Ibuki and Balrog's features with Street Fighter V will be arriving on July 1 update. There will be alternate costumes for Balrog for starters, which will be available for purchase in the in-game shop. Two items, which includes a summertime swimsuit, and a stage taking place on the Kanzuki's family beach (titled Kanzuki Family Private Beach), for Karin will be also available.

Meanwhile, the Street Fighter gear was reported to include Zangief dumbbells. Capcom announced that the gym equipment was inspired  by a few Street Fighters 5 challengers.

Players can choose from weighted gloves (Ryu or Ken inspired), a training tube that has Guile's endorsement, and M.Bison inflatable punching bags (with targets for lower and high middle attacks. There is also Zangief dumbbells that are yellow and red colored, Engadget reported.
