Galaxy Note 6 Release Date, Specs, Price, Rumors: Iris-Scanner Confirmed; Samsung Skips Figure 6; Releases Galaxy Note 7 Instead?

By

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date and price news seem to have another speculation to confirm. The recent leak came from Evan Blass' tweet, confirming Samsung Galaxy Note 7 instead of Note 6.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Specs

The Galaxy Note 6 which is speculated to be Galaxy Note 7, will have impressive specs including iris scanner, Super AMOLED display and spacious storage of 64 GB - expandable with MicroSD card, TechRadar reported. Galaxy Note 7 chassis will boast dustproof body certified with IP68 waterproof. 12 MP lens for its rear camera and 5 MP lens for the front camera with 5,7 inch screen size. Multiple sources hint on its non removable battery cell that boasts 4,200 mAh capacity. Many have shown concerns on Samsung Galaxy Note's huge screen speculation that may reduce battery level fast, but with the battery capacity that large, it should solve the problem. Color options include blue, black and silver.

Galaxy Note 7 instead of Galaxy Note 6?

Many rumors suggest that Samsung will call the next Galaxy series as Galaxy Note 7 instead of Galaxy Note 6. This could be due to the fact that the phonemaker wants the figure to 'catch up' with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S7, Pocket-Lint reported.

Galaxy Note 6 or Galaxy Note 7 iris scanner

Evan Blass updated two tweets on Samsung Galaxy Note series, telling his followers that Galaxy Note 7 is confirmed. He also mentioned about the iris scanner feature that will be enhanced in the flagship.

Furthermore, Blass included some specs in his tweet stating all of the above features enhanced in the upcoming Galaxy Note 7.

Galaxy Note 6/Galaxy Note 7 release date

The release date of Galaxy Note 7 or Galaxy Note 7 is speculated on early August.

What do you think about Galaxy Note 7? What features you like most? Will Samsung really skip Galaxy Note 6 and release Galaxy Note 7 instead?
