ZTE Axon 7 is the name of ZTE's new device that will be launched soon. The company has been sending out invitations for the release albeit many people questioning about Axon 2.

According to the ZTE invitation in Chinese language has no 'discernible OEM behind it'. For the record, the new flagship should have the second generation released but the invitation did not mention any Axon 2 and made a leap right to Axon 7. Could this be a competition against iPhone 7 series release?

Aside from that, the newly launch ZTE new phone should make Samsung worried as the device itself offers a premium and sleek design, as per leaked image of ZTE Axon 7.

ZTE Axon 7 Specifications

On the specs, ZTE Axon 7 is expected to have 5.5 inch display, 4GB of RAM and Snapdragon 820 chipset. On the storage, it will have 64 GB of capacity with expandable feature. there will also be 8 MP selfie front camera and 20 MP at the back. For the OS, ZTE will equip Axon 7 with Marshmallow Android 6.0.1 platform.

The device should also have better audio than the previous generation, especially when the invitation mentions about 'listening to the heart of power'. Rumor has it that the phone will also be enhanced with speakers at the front part with Hi-Fi support.

The specs published also mentions about why it is named Axon 7. According to the Venture Beat, the soon-to-be released phone will be the seventh model of ZTE's as there has been six Axon models in the market so far.

Axon 7 will officialy be launched on May 26th and so far there is not much to reveal on the specs or price or the phone's availability in the US. As the launch of ZTE Axon 7 is counting down, more details should be expected on the flagship.
