Dorial Green-Beckham has officially transferred to the University of Oklahoma to play for the Sooners football team.

According to ESPN, Green-Beckham was dismissed from the Missouri Tigers football team for several off-field issues. The wide receiver is entering his third year of NCAA eligibility, meaning his has two remaining if the NCAA grants him a transfer waiver.

After a breakout season last year, Green-Beckham could be one more season away from establishing himself as a top-tier receiver in the NFL Draft. The six-foot-six receiver caught 59 passes as a sophomore for 883 yards and 12 touchdowns, but his electric abilities have the Sooners excited.

"We are pleased to welcome Dorial to the University of Oklahoma, where he is excited to continue his education and resume his playing career," Sooners head football coach Bob Stoops said in a press release. "Dorial understands the privilege and responsibilities of representing the Oklahoma Football program. He is a talented young man who is eager to get to work with the rest of our team in the classroom and on the field."

An unnamed source told ESPN Green-Beckham and Oklahoma are seeking a transfer waiver to allow the receiver to play immediately, instead of having to lose a year of eligibility. One of the conditions of his transfer is a "zero tolerance" policy for a failed drug test. Green-Beckham is also enrolled in summer classes at Oklahoma that are set to begin next week.

"I appreciate this opportunity from Coach Stoops and the University of Oklahoma," Green-Beckham said in the release. "There are people here who will help me build a strong foundation. I've disappointed myself and others in the past. I know that I have a lot of work to do and I'm ready to get started. OU is a great program and I feel privileged to be part of it. The university has made the expectations clear and I want to live up to them and be a positive part of the campus and team. I also want to thank Coach Gary Pinkel and the University of Missouri."
