Apple Inc. seeded the iOS 11 beta 2 to developers, about two weeks after the mobile operating system debuted at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2017 event. The second beta of iOS 11 contains the much needed bug fixes as well as the internal improvements as the iOS 11 beta 1 is undeniably buggy.
The second beta of iOS 11 brings a very long list of bug fixes to deal with the issues that were unveiled in the first beta. Registered developers are advised to read iOS 11 beta 2's extensive release notes to see what's been fixed.
Nonetheless, registered developers can download the iOS 11 beta 2 in the tech giant's Developer Center. Apple device users, on the other hand, will have to wait just a bit longer, MIC reported.
The iOS 11 beta 2 highlights many known problems, such as an unexpected pop when restarting iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, as well as the SOS notification that goes out even when cancelled. However, as iOS beta versions are unstable, it is better to install it on secondary devices.
The new firmware will bring meaningful updates that Apple device users should enjoy. Wherein, the iOS 11 beta 1 includes major updates to the Notification System, File System, Control Center, among others.
Nevertheless, some of iOS 11 beta 2's important bug fixes include Kindle books now sync as expected, migrating from an Android phone now works correctly, connection issues for Bluetooth accessories are now more reliable. Also, the Do Not Disturb While Driving feature is enabled in beta 2, Photos captured on iOS 11 shows correct orientation and Siri results for Stocks, Movies and Weather queries are now legible, iDrop News reported.
In spite of that, iOS 11 mobile operating system is only available to registered developers. However, the Cupertino based tech titan will soon make a version available to public beta testers.
