The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S and the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 were two of the best laptops from previous years, and these devices remain popular among tech fans. Both tech giants have recently rolled out updates to their hybrid laptops in the Samsung Galaxy Book and the Microsoft Surface Pro. Although both 2-in-1 laptops are better compared to their respective predecessors, but tech enthusiasts are trying to find out which of the two is better.
The Microsoft Surface Pro is available with a kickstand that can extend to 165 degrees linked to the device. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy Book has also its kickstand built into the keyboard, which prevents users to prop up the 2-in-1 laptop on its own. But, the kickstand of the Microsoft Surface Pro is very conveniently placed, which makes the Microsoft Surface Pro far easier to prop up, Blorge reported.
The Microsoft Surface Pro comes with a 12.3-inch PixelSense display along with 2736 x 1824 pixel resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Book is available with a 10.6-inch and 12-inch models, with the former boasts a TFT display with 1920 x 1280 pixel and the latter comes with an AMOLED display with 2160 x 1440 resolution. In spite of the low resolution, Galaxy Book 12's AMOLED display makes the device look as great as Microsoft's new Surface Pro.
In terms of price, the Samsung Galaxy Book 10 costs $630, while the Galaxy Book 12 has a $1,130 price tag. The Microsoft Surface Pro will have a starting price of $799 and will be up for grabs starting June 15, Tech Republic reported.
Talking about which of the two is better, the Samsung Galaxy Book only comes in two different variants, but the Microsoft Surface Book offers more choices in terms of specs. The high-end version of Microsoft's Surface Pro is better against Samsung Galaxy Book in all categories.
