Will iPhone 8 be Better than iPhone 7?
New leaks suggest that the upcoming iPhone 8 will be better than iPhone 7 which basically means the phone will possess new features and specs that are not found in its predecessor. According to Forbes, Apple is finally adopting the Tap to Wake feature from its rival Android and will bring it exclusively to iPhone 8.
Furthermore, iPhone 8 is said to have a fast-charging feature which is akin to Qualcomm-operated devices Quick Charge, though switching from Lightning is unlikely to happen. Through this feature, the smartphone's battery is expected to have a top up of 15 to 20 minutes for a day of use.
In addition, iPhone 8 is expected to have bigger displays compared to its predecessor. In fact, it is tipped to sport an OLED display that is almost bezel-less enclosed in a glass housing that makes wireless charging highly possible and a home button integrated into the display, according to BGR.
iPhone 8 Release Date
Apple follows a tradition of launching iPhones in the month of September. For this reason, iPhone 8 is expected to debut during the same month in 2017 however, it will contradict to the previous reports that Apple's 10th iPhone anniversary celebration will took place in August this year.
Since there is no confirmed date from Apple yet, fans are advised to wait until further notice. Meanwhile, those who considered iPhone 7 as a boring device are expected to grab the radically designed iPhone 8 which is reportedly launching together with iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.
