AMD Vega 10 is the star during RRA GPU certification with its solid performance outscoring its expected rival, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, which underwent the same regulatory evaluation. Reports tell that AMD Vega 10 did very well in all aspect.

RRA is South Korea's National Radio Research Agency, a regulatory board that conducts tests and approves products that are produced by Silicon Valley-based companies before they are sold into the electronic market, Segment Next noted.

AMD Vega 10 or Radeon RX 490 made headlines in the past days. The upcoming specs of the upcoming graphic card have been leaked through a listing posted by a retailer.

Expectations for the upcoming Radeon RX 490, which will debut as AMD Vega 10, claim that its VR gaming compatibility could top the fan rankings.

AMD Vega 10 Specs

AMD Vega 10 will be available in 16GB units for flagship while 8GB units for the low-end variant. The 8GB prototype units have made its debut performance at the Tech Summit in Sonoma, California. Where the first-hand witness saw it rock the 8GB next gen HBM2 technology running DOOM at 4K using the Ultra Setting with 70 FPS average, Tweak Town wrote.

AMD Vega 10's performance is remarkable since NVIDIA's fastest GeForce GTX 1080 and Titan X are required to hit those numbers to run DOOM.

Since the RRA certification has approved the solid performance of AMD Vega 10, the production of the units will surely happen in the next months. The previous report suggests that its launch could happen anytime this December, Tweak Town suggests that it might be at the Game Developers Conference 2017 sometime between February 27th and March 3rd.
