The iPad Air 3 release date is rumored to be March 2017. Several fans are already making a wishlist for what they will expect for the upcoming gadget.
iPad Air 3 release date might be next year
According to Neurogadget, the iPad Air 3 is rumored to make an appearance in March 2017, during a keynote event held by Apple. The manufacturer was supposed to release the gadget last year, but it had other plans to do, which was to restructure the MacBook lineups.
iPad Air 3 release date might come with new iPad Pro 2 launching
The iPad Air 3 was rumored to have a release date next year and it will launch together with the new iPad Pro 2 lineup. It was also rumored that this will be the last model for the Air lineup. Apple will be focusing only on the iPad Pro types since these gadgets sell well in the market.
iPad Air 3 rumored specs
Aside from the rumored release date of iPad Air 3, its specifications were rumored to be a slimmer body, which might be 5mm thick. It will have an A9X Apple chipset that will support 3 or 4GB of RAM and an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera.
Rumor has it that its exterior form might be made of 7000-series aluminum, which will make it more resistant and less bendable compared to the other brands out there today. Its screen will measure 9.7 inches, but it will support a 4K resolution and the body might be waterproof and dustproof. It was also rumored that it might be cheaper than its predecessor.
iPad Air 3 fan wishlist
According to the official website of Reddit, several fans have made a wishlist for the iPad Air 3. One member wanted an Apple pencil support, 3D touch, NFC, Touch ID gen 2.0, 4K 12MP camera, and many more. Another member hoped that it will have an A10X chip, but another member doubted that Apple will put it in the gadget.
