The current global coronavirus pandemic may have put a stop to most international travel for the time being, but luckily for us, there are still a wealth of fantastic domestic destinations to choose from if you want to get away for a spring vacation. The best part is that there is sure to be a place that's perfect for everyone, whether you want to hit the beach or the ski slopes. Just remember to check local restrictions before you travel and stay home if you feel unwell. Even if you're unable to travel this spring, these five destinations will provide you with some great inspiration for next year!

Orlando, Florida

With warm weather and plenty of fun-filled activities to choose from, Orlando is a great choice for a family vacation. Both kids and adults will love immersing themselves in the magic of Disneyland and Universal Studios, plus there are plenty of outdoor concerts and other events going on to choose from. Or for the ultimate relaxation, you could have a Pesach Orlando getaway at a luxury villa, with top quality food, swimming pools, and all the amenities you could want.

Breckenridge, Colorado

This charming mining town at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado is ideal for a spring ski trip. With unbelievably beautiful landscapes to admire and world-class snow conditions to enjoy, outdoorsy types will be in heaven. In addition to hitting the slopes, you can also wander the historic main street for boutique shopping, take a fascinating tour of Breckenridge's mines, or get your heart pounding with a hair-raising ghost tour!

Coachella Valley, California

While its eponymous music festival may have been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Coachella Valley in California still makes a fantastic place to visit. During the spring, the temperature is pleasant and the wildflowers are in full bloom, making for wonderfully pretty scenery. The Palm Springs Aerial Tram - the largest rotating tramcar in the world - provides some of the best views around during its ten minute, 2.5-mile journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon to the untouched wilderness of Mt. San Jacinto State Park.

Cannon Beach, Oregon

Although the air can still be a little chilly here in the spring, Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast is a stunningly beautiful area of sandy beaches, tide pools full of marine life, jagged rock formations, and towering cliffs. With plenty of hiking trails offering panoramic coastal views, there are photo opportunities galore. Back in the picturesque town itself, be sure to also explore the impressive art galleries, unique shops, and top-notch restaurants.

New Orleans, Louisiana

One of the top spring break destinations in the country, New Orleans is a vibrant city of gastronomic delights, lively festivals, and epic musical heritage. There are also museums to explore, unique art and architecture to admire, streetcars to ride, parks to stroll through, plenty of shopping to be done, and, of course, nightlife to immerse yourself in. All of which means that a trip here is sure to be one that you never forget.
