Even if Square Enix has let go of IO Interactive, it seems like the game developers will continue to dish out new content for "Hitman." The June content has been announced and it will include the 25th Elusive Target, and more.

June Content Has Arrived

IO Interactive has recently announced that they will be releasing more content for their latest "Hitman" game title for the month of June. These contents will include the 25th Elusive Target, two Escalation Contracts, and ten new Featured Contracts, which will be added on June 2, according to the official website of the game developers.

The Spaggiari Subversion and the Asya Attunement are the two Escalation Contracts for this month. The Spaggiari Subversion is a first Escalation Contract on the Landslide Bonus Mission, and it will let players challenge five different stages. The Asya Attunement will be the fourth Escalation Contract to be added for Bangkok stage, and it will include different challenges like laser tripwires and more.

Featured Contracts And Elusive Target Revealed

"Hitman's" Featured Contracts were actually picked by the members of the gaming community. There will be ten contracts and these were chosen from a number of entries that the members submitted. These contracts will be added to the game with both Escalation Contracts on June 2.

For this month's Elusive Target, players will have to find Hokkaido, and he will arrive before the end of the month, but there is no exact date yet. The game developers also note that they will have 10 days to capture the target or he will be lost forever.

Square Enix Wants "Hitman" To Go On

While Square Enix has let go of IO Interactive, the game company wants the "Hitman" series to continue, even if they have to let it go. They are now negotiating with prospective external investors that are capable of ensuring that the game titles of the franchise to carry on, VG247 reported.
