First, the White House Internship Program is a pre-graduation opportunity for students to work in the center of the American government. It is divided into three seasons such as summer, fall, and spring. Those selected will work in one of 16 available Presidential departments.

Aside from the chance to enter the Executive Office of the President, the White House Internship Program includes speaker series too. Tours to sites around Washington D.C., opportunities to volunteer in the community, and be present at special events are offered in the program as well.

Next, if not enrolled anymore, the applicant could still be accepted in the Fall 2017 White House Internship Program if he or she has graduated from an undergraduate or graduate study at a college, community college, or university. The date of graduation, though, must not be more than two years before the internship start date.

Lastly, a veteran of the United States Armed Forces who has a high school diploma could also apply. Do note his or her service in active duty, for any length of time, must be two years preceding the internship start date too. The applicants will be selected based on their commitment to public service, leadership, and loyalty to the Donald Trump Administration.
