Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Launches At Microsoft Event On May 23, Device Will Be Much Better Than iPad Pro 2 [VIDEO]

Microsoft recently held a press conference to announce two major products, the Surface Laptop and the Windows 10 S operating system. Nonetheless, the tech giant is holding another Surface event in Shanghai on 23 May where the highly anticipated Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to roll out. The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is said to be much better compared to Apple's iPad Pro 2.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will reportedly be launched at the Surface event in Shanghai on 23 May. Nevertheless, the Redmond, Washington based tech company did not reveal any information about the upcoming Surface Pro 5 and its hardware event. But, reports are claiming that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be much better compared to Apple's upcoming iPad Pro 2.

While Microsoft did not divulge any specific details about the event's exact location or what exactly it was going to showcase, the tech giant made it known that tech fans can expect new hardware. Microsoft's VP of devices, Panos Panay, announced on his Twitter account that the tech giant is ready to unveil the Microsoft Surface Pro 5, Laptop Mag reported.

Meanwhile, University Herald reported that the Surface Pro 5 will come along with a Surface Dial. The advantages of this Surface Pro 5 feature would be the expansion of LTE for mobile connectivity, as well as a longer battery life.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with a 2K screen, but there will also be a 4K model for tech enthusiasts who can afford the expensive price. Also, the Surface Pro 5 will boast a 16GB of RAM, probably for the budget-friendly variant, PC Advisor reported.

Furthermore, Microsoft's soon-to-be-launched device is likely to be the first in the Surface series to have a USB-C port. The USB-C port feature could also be utilized for charging. That being said, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to have a price tag around £1,049 or $1,361.
