iPad Pro 2 Update: Apple Is Rebranding Its iPad Mini 5 To iPad Pro Mini 2017, As Powerful As Its Larger Siblings [VIDEO]

By

There are rounds of iPad Pro 2 updates going on in the past week but something is as interesting - introducing the 7.9-inch iPad Mini 5. And there is more, Apple's 2017 mini tab is reportedly having a new namesake. The latest edition will now be called iPad Pro Mini 2017.

There so much happening with the iPad Mini's comeback. One of the most notable features coming in is the arrival of A10X chipset in the device. The A-line features come after Chinese Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo hinted that Apple iPads will now follow the iPad Pro line-up, Korean Portal reported.

This slightly confirms that the iPad Mini 5 will likely be called the iPad Pro 2017. In addition, Apple has already ditched iPad Mini 2 from its stores leaving iPad Mini 4 the only 7.9-inch device in its tablet catalog which last received an update in 2015.

The iPad Mini 5 aka iPad Pro Mini 2017 is reportedly slated to be launched this June or September. It was previously speculated that the latest Apple tab will be released side-by-side the Red iPhone. However, it did not materialize leaving the iPhone Red variants for solo launching.

iPad Pro 2017 will be coupled with 3GB of RAM. Apple will also include four speakers and TrueTone display for astounding entertainment. There will also be a Smart connector which will allow it to connect to keyboards. These features will make it more powerful than its predecessors and as exciting as its larger siblings.

Meanwhile, Apple insiders still argue regarding its battery life. According to Droid Report, iPad Mini 5's battery performance could have a lower battery component like the iPad Mini 4. However, other reports say that a better battery might come for the next iPad Mini since Apple could bring a new battery technology used in improving the MacBook Pro 2017 update.

Meanwhile, which name do you prefer better, iPad Mini 5 or iPad Pro Mini 2017?
