"One Punch Man" fanatics were discussing over at Reddit, with one fan even expressing that he is excited to witness the battle between Saitama and Garou. Nonetheless, one fellow Reddit user claimed that the Saitama vs Garou battle may not commence until "One Punch Man" season 3. Meanwhile, another user claimed that Saitama will lose a fight in "One Punch Man" season 2 due to a loss in focus over a person the character really like.

In a separate Reddit thread, a user spilled the beans for the "One Punch Man" season 2 finale. According to the user, he is certain that author Murata will feature a scene that involves Garou and the S-Class Rank 12 hero, Watchman Dog. An encounter between S-Class Rank 3 hero Bang and several martial arts masters as well as Garou will also happen.

Nevertheless, Ken Xyro confirmed through his Twitter account that the "One Punch Man" is not in hiatus and season 2 is in the works. As expected, Xyro could not confirm the exact release date of the "One Punch Man" season 2 and claimed that it will be announced soon, Geek reported.

Regarding the possible plot for the season 2, it has been said that main protagonist Saitama will taste his first defeat. Saitama will fight against stronger villains and may be defeated by the Monster Association. The defeat of the "One Punch Man" main protagonist may be due to his reduced powers and will be vulnerable in the upcoming "One Punch Man" season 2.
