Final Chapter: The Ringed City DLC Hints End Times-Like Final Battle, This Is 'Dark Souls 3' At Its Extreme

Bandai Namco's popular RPG "Dark Souls 3" is getting another big update this month, but this time it's the final update. Publisher Bandai Namco and developer From Software are reportedly working together on the final touch of the second and probably final DLC expansion for the action role-playing game "Dark Souls 3."

Game publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed on Twitter that the "Dark Souls 3" The Ringed City DLC livestream will be aired this coming March 15 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. On the livestream, the publisher will have special guests and giveaways. The publisher is also expected to show some new PvP content such as new weapons, new arenas and the much talked single player gameplay.

To build some buzz around the upcoming DLC content, Bandai Namco this week has released a new batch of "Dark Souls 3" The Ringed City DLC screenshots online, showcasing to the gaming world the new places that the player will need to explore and the new enemies they will face.

The upcoming update The Ringed City DLC is said to be at World's End, so the crowd should expect more danger and death on board. Again, this is the second and last DLC expansion for the game series, so expect something scary here, including more death-defying acts and terrible creatures---the beasts are coming. Some already players called it the 'final battle', or 'end times'. For Bandai Namco and From Software, this could be their final moment, this is "Dark Souls 3" at its extreme!

Additionally, Bandai Namco also posted some screenshots on the official Dark Souls fan page on Facebook, revealing to the world some of the new environments the players will need to explore and also some nasty-looking creatures. There's also a huge display of new weaponry that Dark Souls players can use.

As mentioned earlier by GameSpot, the gameplay trailer for the much awaited The Ringed City has already been released last month and can be seen at gaming website GameSpot. That first trailer shows off a few different locations and encounters, including a fight against a giant winged beast, as noted by GameSpot.

The "Dark Souls 3" The Ringed City DLC is set for release on March 28 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The DLC will costs dark Souls players around $15 as a standalone purchase or is included with the $25 season pass. The $25 season pass will also provide access to the game's first DLC expansion, Ashes of Ariandel, Bandai Namco added.

In other Dark Soul-related news, A new patch for Dark Souls III was released in February that went on to address various bugs including a much-talked issue that allowed Dark Souls players to be invaded during boss fights. Thankfully, that issue has been fixed now.

Bandai Namco's high-flying action RPG "Dark Souls 3" is currently available in all regions on game consoles and Windows PC. Stay tuned for more updates folks.
