MacBook Pro 2017 Update Heralds as ‘Most Significantly Redesigned Product' – Plus More Rumors, Chunky Discounts

By

Recently, MacBook Pro 2017 has been coined as "the most significantly redesigned product of 2017". The 2017 update is said to have three different size variants where the two additional sized will shift to a different processor. Amid the scarcity of confirmation from Apple, retailers are putting the 13-inch MacBook units on sale giving speculations that the Apple's MacBook Pro 2017 release date is near.

According to Bloomberg, the new MacBook Pro 2017 release date is confirmed to happen within this year. However, the latest addition to the MacBook family is reportedly shifting shift away from Intel processors for a new chip under codename T310. Apple's shift to new chip aims to lever low-power functionality which will work along the main Intel processor.

Another MacBook Pro 2017 rumor comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who predicts that the new laptop from Apple will finally feature the Kaby Lake Processor for the 12-inch tier. The MacBook Pro said tier will host a 16GB RAM and will begin mass production in Q2.

Aside from the 12-inch, MacBook Pro 2017 will have another two size variants which are the new 13- and 15-inch options. According to PC Advisor, the 15-inch MacBook will host a 32GB RAM and named to be "the most significantly redesigned product this year".

On the other hand, various MacBook Pro models are starting to go on sale. Several retailers are cutting chunky discounts to their old MacBook. The 13-inch MacBook Pro launched in late 2016 is now available for only $1,349. About $150 has been cut off from the original price at B&H.

This MacBook Pro deal is $50 to $100 cheaper than those price cuts being offered at another Apple authorized reseller. To redeem the discount go to Apple Insider's Price Guide and apply promo code APINSIDER in the Promo Code field right after you fill in your shipping info.
