‘Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’ DLC Pack 3 Plot: DLC Pack 3 Details Hinted; To Feature ‘Dragon Ball Super’ Future Trunks Story Arc Characters?

Right after the announcement of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 2, Japanese video game publisher Bandai Namco teased some juicy detail on what's to come to the game's next downloadable content.

At the end of the YouTube video trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 2, Bandai Namco hinted that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3 will feature "Dragon Ball Super" Future Trunks saga, Saiyan Island reported.

It seems that Bandai Namco is following "DBS" story arcs as the game's DLC Pack 2 was based on Universe 6 story arc that precedes Future Trunks story arc. With that said, there is a possibility that some characters in "Dragon Ball Super" series' Future Trunks story arc will be included on "Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3 story mode's playable characters. The possible characters to appear in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3 include Zamasu, Goku Black, Bojak, Super Saiyan Rose, Magetta and SSGSS Vegito.

Although speculations are rife in regard to the possible characters of the upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3, Bandai Namco has yet to confirm if these may possibly materialize. Besides, the Japan-based video game publisher has yet to announce the exact release date of the game's third downloadable content. Until then, all speculations about the game's next chapter should be taken with a grain of salt.

In other "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" news, Bandai Namco announced in January that the game will be heading to the newly released Nintendo Switch console. Although details of the supposed release announcement are scarce, the game publisher assured fans that the company will "share more details soon," IGN US reported.

Nintendo Switch, which was originally known as Nintendo NX, was released globally on March 3. The Nintendo hybrid console is equipped with a 20nm Custom Nvidia Tegra chip backed by 4 GB LPDDR4. Switch sports 32 GB of internal memory flash but can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD, microSDHC or microsSDXC.
