Report Claims that Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus Will Outsell Galaxy S8

As far as historical sales statistics is concerned, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has outsold the Galaxy S7 just because of its dual curved-edge. For this reason, Samsung is expected to produce an Edge version of Galaxy S8; however, the company has not confirmed any of these rumors.

Nevertheless, despite being tight-lipped of the South Korean tech firm, the Galaxy S8 Plus variant is heavily anticipated by the crowd. According to Phone Arena, this variant of the 2017 flagship smartphone is said to sport a screen display with 6.2-inch dual-curved edge screen which is larger than Galaxy S8 5.7-inch display which is said to be the main difference of the two phones.

Furthermore, based on the historical sales statistics of Galaxy S7, Samsung is expected to produce more of Galaxy S8 Plus than Galaxy S8 with 7:3 sales ratios in mind. However, there is no mention of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus in the send out invites of Samsung for the Mobile World Congress where Galaxy S8 will be shown in a 60-minute video.
