ABC has released the official synopsis for the 12th and 13th installment of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13. In recent reports, another character is reportedly exiting the show following Sara Ramirez.

Dr. Callie Torres, played by Sara Ramirez, is the most recent cast member who departed the longtime running ABC medical drama. Now, reports claim that it is indeed confirmed that the series will let go another character in its return.

Another Character To Exit Again in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13

According to TV Line, sources exclusively confirms that Jerrika Hinton, who plays the role of Dr. Stephanie Edwards, will soon bid her goodbye to "Grey's Anatomy" season 13. Hinton will not be back as the series regular in the upcoming season 14 of the show.

The confirmation comes after the official announcement of Hinton's leading role project in Allan Ball's new yet-to-be-titled HBO series.Her exit is not a surprise at all since her departure has always been a hot topic since spring when she lands a role in "Toast".

The 35-year-old actress is supposed to be taking both shows ["Grey's Anatomy" and "Toast"]. However, ABC eventually passed on the assignment and Hinton's character returned to "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 as one of the series' regulars.

Meanwhile, based on Deadline's report, Hinton's upcoming show after her "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 exit will focus on a contemporary multi-racial family. A couple named Greg Bishop and Audrey Black decided to adopt children from Cambodia, Somalia, and Vietnam before having their own son. Later on, one of their children will begin to see things that others cannot.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 Episode Guide

ABC has released the official synopsis for the upcoming two episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13. The description says:

Episode 12, "None of Your Business": Maggie gets a surprise visit from her mother at the hospital. Bailey has to make a difficult decision when one of the attendings refuses to work with Eliza, and Stephanie gets caught up in Owen and Amelia's personal drama."

Episode 13, "It Only Gets Much Worse": The residents are excited for Eliza's next phase of teaching, but they spend the day caught between the warring attendings. Meanwhile, April has a challenging first day in her new role at the hospital.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 13 episode 12 airs on Feb. 9th while episode 13 airs on Feb. 16th.
