With the upcoming releases of "Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale" and "Accel World vs. Sword Art Online," the hype for this popular anime and manga series has just increased with the all-new and mobile-exclusive "Sword Art Online" game.

"Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag" simply gives players the chance to relive the anime series itself - bringing them back to where it all began, when Kirito first played SAO with other virtual reality players and first thrust into the twisted logic of the game's developer, Kayaba Akihiko. According to a dedicated page for "Memory Defrag," a new storyline was also added exclusively to the game, which players would just have to see for themselves.

Players also get the chance to play as Kirito, Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth, Silica, and other popular characters from the series. It has a multiplayer mode as well, which is very much helpful as a player cannot proceed to the next floor of Aincrad without defeating the Boss Monster to clear the current game floor he/she is on. More than that, this side-scrolling, free-to-play RPG features character weapons and skills as seen in the anime series such as Kirito's Dual-Wielding skill and Asuna's Rapier skill.

After being exclusively released in Japan just a few months ago, "Memory Defrag" is now available on Apple's App Store and Google Play in Southeast Asian countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines, as well as other countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, and Australia, as reported by Hi-Tech Gazette.
