Anne Hathaway Teams Up With Rebel Wilson To Remake ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ Movie [VIDEO]

Anne Hathaway is back for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" movie remake with a tentative movie title, "Nasty Women." She will be joined by the comedic actress Rebel Wilson. The new women power duo will push forward the storyline made famous by Michael Caine and Steve Martin.

According to Hollywood Reported, the MGM produced film "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" taps on reverse role from male machismo appeal to the current trend of powerful dives. In this spin-off, Hathaway and Wilson will con a tech prodigy to extract millions from his filthy pocket.

The new take from 1988's "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" will be penned by Jac Schaeffer who happens to also take credit for Hathaway's upcoming film "The Shower" where the plot circles around a baby shower interrupted by an alien invasion. Wilson will be producing the film together with Roger Birnbaum, who will produce the film under his Pin High Productions banner.

Both actresses is taking 2017 as much as they can. After working in "The Intern" with Robert De Niro and "Alice Through the Looking Glass," Hathaway is busy taping for another gender-reversal film alongside Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, and Rihanna, The Guardian reported. It is the female spin-off of "Ocean's Eleven," the "Ocean's Eight." Another sci-fi film entitled "Colossal" is helmed under Hathaway's brand. The movie revolved around the psychic connection between her character and a monstrous being wreaking havoc in the citadel. The said film is about to premier this year.

Meanwhile, Wilson recently tweeted the reunion picture of the Barden Bellas, America's favorite campus girl choir hinting the upcoming "Pitch Perfrct 3" Reunion Movie.
