Android 6 Marshmallow Update Reportedly Rolled Out to ZTE Blade A2 – The Most Powerful Mid-Range Phone So Far [VIDEO]

While other budget phones are stagnant, the case is opposite for ZTE Blade A2 since it is recently spotted in a benchmarking site running Android 6 Marshmallow. Let's find out how the second latest android mobile operating transform the mid-range phone into a high-performing one.

ZTE Blade A2 Reportedly Running Android 6 Marshmallow

It seems like ZTE Blade A2 is heading towards receiving its Android 6 Marshmallow update since the handset is reportedly spotted in GFXBench running the said operating system according to reports. However, there is no exact date as to when will the update start rolling out but the device spotted in benchmarking site is allegedly giving out a signal.

On the other hand, Android 6 Marshmallow is expected to bring major changes and improvements to the existing features of ZTE Blade 2 such as fingerprint sensor located at the back of the phone which has the ability to unlock the device in 0.3 seconds. Battery improvement is also expected since Android 6 Marshmallow is known for having power management feature incorporated in the update.

Under the hood, a MediaTek MT6750 chipset with octa-core 1.5GHz processor can be found in the heart of ZTE Blade A2 coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB thru microSD; thus, contributed to the fast performance of the phone. According to Gadgets NDTV, the phone features a 5-inch touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.

Furthermore, ZTE Blade A2 is also pack with 13MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus and 5MP for selfie shooter powered by 2500 mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 out of the box. In addition, the phone also supports dual SIM for both GSM and nano-SIM slots, connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G and some sensors such as Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Gyroscope and Ambient light sensor.

ZTE Blade A2 is a successor of Blade A1 and was released in June 2016 by Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (ZTE). A Chinese OEM and the fourth largest Android manufacturer in the world.
