Saiyuki RELOAD BLAST Gets Release Date, Cast, Director, and MORE! Fans Can't Wait for the TV Adaptation

News about the much anticipated "Saiyuki Reload Blast" TV animation has been making rounds in Japanese entertainment blogs revealing release date, its director, and its cast. Meanwhile, fans are getting so excited for this new iteration of the long running manga series.

News about the upcoming anime adaptation of "Saiyuki" came from a "flying get" report in Japan, Crunchyroll reported. The reports revealed that the director of the new TV show is Hideaki Nakano, who also directed "Aoharu x Machinegun." The show is expected to start broadcasting in July this year.

Meanwhile, the person responsible for the series composition is Kenji Konuta, who is also responsible for the "Library War." Character design is by Youkou Satou, who also designed characters for "Dog & Scissors." The animation production of "Saiyuki Reload Blast" will be done by Platinum Vision, which also brought "Servamp."

Excited Fans

Fans of the anime is rejoicing over the fact that they are getting another "Saiyuki Reload Blast," JCPhotog reported. Fans are particularly excited for the cast that will be voicing the characters in the anime series. Toshihiko Seki will be voicing Genjo Sanzo, Soichiro Hoshi will be voicing Son Goku, Hiroaki Hirata will voice Sha Gojyo, and Akira Ishida will voice Cho Hakkai.

However, "flying get" reports must be treated with a grain of salt since they are not official announcements. Fans should wait for more official updates on the latest anime adaptation of the "Saiyuki" series.

"Saiyuki Reload Blast" is based on the "Saiyuki" manga series created by Kazuya Minekura. "Sayuki" is about the characters from "Journey to the West," which is a classic Chinese Noel. In the animated adaptation of Minekura, the heroes in this story are re-imagined as handsome young men. 

"Saiyuki Reload Blast" is the latest adaptation of this manga series, which has been adapted as anime so many times before. One of the recent anime adaptations was the "Saiyuki Gaiden" OAVs back in 2011.
