Square Enix's open world adventure game "Final Fantasy XV" may be a few years old now, but "FFXV" gamers are still on the look out for the latest update. Fortunately, Square Enix has promised to get back with more DLC and updates.

According to One Angry Gamer, two "Final Fantasy 15 Ultimania" books have been released recently in Japan and it also revealed that the game will be getting new characters via the final multiplayer DLC.

The guidebook reveals that the upcoming characters will be playable via the multiplayer DLC. It's introduced the character of Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, known as Lady Luna, which is said to be an exclusive character and main heroine of the Square Enix open world franchise.

Iris Amicitia, the younger sister of Gladiolus, is confirmed to be available in the upcoming DLC. Cor Leonis, the legendary fighter from the Kingdom of Lucis and Aranea Highwind, the captain of the Third Army Corps 86th Airborne Unit of the Nilfleim Empire, will also be part of the playable characters.

Reports also said that the playable characters Iris, Cor and Aranea will be guest characters to support the main party of Noctis, Ignis, Prompto and Gladiolus. Existing characters will remain in the game despite the changes made in the storyline.

In addition to the playable characters, Square Enix also revealed the game's antagonist, which said to make an appearance via the upcoming DLC. Verstael Besithia, a mad scientist and the head of the research laboratory of Nilfelheim Empire, will be an antagonist of the game. Verstael Besithia will be creating the strongest existence in the game through his genius mind, according to Dual Shockers.

Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy 15" game director Hajime Tabata has decided to leave the ending of the game vague so that gamers will be left to interpret it. As a result, gamers would end up debating and speculating about what the ending look like.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
