Ed Boon Will Bring Watchmen and Red Hood to Injustice 2; All the Details Here! [VIDEO]

By

Netherealm Studios game developer Ed Boon has been running surveys to have an idea who fans want to see in the new Injustice 2. The results of the poll shows that fans want to see Red Hood and Watchmen. Will they be really included?

Red Hood Coming To Injustice 2?

The new game will bring back some of the major characters as well as new ones. Though there are no confirmed reports which new character will be featured in Injustice 2, polls show that 52 percent wants to see Jason Todd's Red Hood over Dick Grayson's Nightwing with only 25 percent and Damien Wayne's Robin with only 18 percent, CapedCrusaders reported.

Red Hood would be a good addition to this violent Mortal Combat-like game, but it doesn't necessarily mean fans won't be seeing the other Batman characters, like Robin and Nightwing. Game makers are still developing Injustice 2, which is set for release next year. The game will be available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Ed Boon May Bring Watchmen To Injustice 2

Meanwhile, another poll shows that 74 percent of fans wants to see Watchmen in the new Injustice 2, while only 26 percent said they don't want to see, Bleeding Cool reported. Although, there are about 14,841.44 fans who voted in favor for Watchmen, some believe that this may not be a very good idea. These fans and Ed Boon may not be aware that they are provoking the wrath of Alan Moore, the legendary comic book creator who made Watchmen.

Looking back, Moore wasn't really pleased with the cashgrab prequel "Before Watchmen," especially since he doesn't like adaptations to his works and is not in good terms with DC and Warner Brothers. Moore wasn't also particularly pleased with Zack Snyder's "Watchmen" movie adaptation.

This only means that the creator of "Watchmen" would definitely not like the fact that his characters would be used again for Injustice 2.
