The "Fast and Furious 8" debuts first trailer for "The Fate of the Furious" revealing Dom's betrayal to side with new villain Cipher while the rest of the "Fast and Furious" crew works together to bring him back. Moreover, "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift" Sean Boswell will join the team, not just for a cameo, but a much bigger role for the entire "Fast and Furious" final trilogy.

The "Fast and Furious 8" first trailer shown last Sunday exceeded all world records with trailer debuts, garnering 139 million viewers in just 24 hours to beat Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" trailer. Universal made sure to make the "The Fate of the Furious" first trailer have an impact with livestreaming of lead cast members in facebook.

What the first trailer for the "Fast and Furious 8" reveals is the central plot of the story, which shows the betrayal of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his alliance with new villain, Cipher (Charlize Theron). The rest of the crew, namely, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russel reunite to save and capture Dom.

The first trailer for "The Fate of the Furious" shows how Cipher has enticed Dom to work with her with the high-tech terrorist revealing how she likes Dom for being a genuine outlaw, news.com.au reported. Moreover, Cipher said that the "Fast and Furious" family will not be able to handle Dom's betrayal, let alone stop him.

The "Fast and Furious 8" trailer also shows Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) in prison after being set up by Dom to take the fall for their latest mission. Both Hobbs and Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) will be brought out of prison to join forces with the rest of the crew for "The Fate of the Furious" movie.

Also reprising his role is Lucas Black's Sean Boswell from "Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift," not just for a cameo, but for a much bigger role with the actor confirming his involvement in the "Fast and Furious" final trilogy accoridng to Movieweb. There are no details as to what this role will be, but rumors say that he will most likely join the crew as well.

"The Fate of the Furious" hits theaters on April 14, 2017 with the "Fast and the Furious 9" on April 19, 2019 and the "Fast and Furious 10" on April 2, 2021. For those who missed Sunday's "Fast and Furious 8" trailer, watch the video below.
