'Stranger Things' Season 2 Confirms Eleven's Return But Not Show Regular? New Cast to Replace Eleven Soon

By

Images from "Stranger Things" tease Eleven's return in season 2, as well as new cast member. David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, said the Eggo waffle-eating girl will be back in some form. Meanwhile, an upside down photo of a table read with the cast reveals that there will be two new actors in the show, who probably will replace Eleven.

Eleven Not show regular

Last season, Eleven vaporised with the "demogorgon," but police chief Hopper is seen one month later leaving a Tupperware box and Eleven's favorite Eggo in the woods, Telegraph reported. This is a big Easter egg which probably means Eleven will be back for the next season.

Last October Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, posted a picture in her social media account showing an image of her with Harbour, saying shhhh, don't say a word. But in October, she finally confirmed the speculations that her character will be back for the next season.

Meanwhile, Harbour said in an interview that his character might understand that Eleven still exist, but in some other form, which is why Hopper left those goodies in the woods for her.

New actor hired to terminate and replace Eleven

Meanwhile, the show released a photo of a table read with the cast. However, this photo is upside down, which is a reference to the "Upside Down" world, where Eleven disappears to, Variety reported. Familiar faces were present in that upside down photo except for Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery.

Sink will play the tomboy Max, while Montomery will be Max's older brother Billy. Meanwhile, some of the familiar actors in the photo were Natalia Dyer, Celeb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Finn Wolfhard.

For now, fans will just have to contain their excitement until "Stranger Things" Season 2 will be released on 2017 in Netflix.
