Most fans and avid gamers alike are well aware of the success that "Persona 5" has received after it has been launched in Japan this year. With the game being released for its Western audiences in 2017, fans will be delighted to know that the developers have decided to release the original Japanese audio of the game as a free DLC. Moreover, sources have taken note as to how the combat system took some pointers from the acclaimed "Shin Megami Tensei" franchise.

It was recently reported that Atlus will be releasing the original Japanese audio for "Persona 5" once it gets released for its Western audiences in 2017, Forbes learned. It was mentioned therein that the game was pushed back from a February to an April 2017 release date.

Moreover, it seems that this has partly to do with the developer's effort in localizing "Persona 5" to its non-Japanese fans. The source highlighted on the fact that it takes a lot of manpower in dubbing a game into other languages.

In other news, it was also noted that "Persona 5" has been influenced by the acclaimed "Shin Megami Tensei" franchise, Games Radar reported. It was stated that fans will be able to gain new Personas by hitting them with an attack, which they are vulnerable from. This will allow players to engage with the monsters and even get a chance to convince them to assist you.

For those unfamiliar with the game, "Persona 5" is a Japanese role-playing game developed by Atlus, which was released for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 back in September. This is the sixth installment (in chronological order) in the franchise, and forms part of the larger "Megami Tensei" series, as well.

"Persona 5" focuses on a high school student, the main protagonist of the story, after being transferred to the fictional Shujin High School. During their stay in this institution, the protagonist and other students realize their Persona powers and set off to form a vigilante group called "Phantom Thieves of Hearts."

Fans can expect "Persona 5" to be released outside of Japan in April 2017.
