'Battleborn' Second DLC Update: 'Toby's Friendship Raid,' Free Characters Featured; Discounts For Extra Skins Revealed For PS4, Xbox One, PC

By

"Battleborn' is coming this weekend, along with other great games. As  announced by Gearbox Software, a second downloadable story named "Toby's Friendship Raid" comes with the game, including characters that are free of charge.

The second "Battleborn" DLC, "Toby's Friendship Raid" deals with the missing mech suit of Toby, and players should team up to help the adorable, yet deadly penguin to take it back. According to reports, the all-new story operation allows the players to battle their way throughout the deadly traps  of LLC manufacturing facilities, including the enemies.

Once completed, they can get new taunts, skins and a chance to unlock the Faction Commander Packs as they pursue their goal to restore Toby's mech suit. The story is launched as part of the Season Pass, with each Story Operation available for 700 Platinum.

"Battleborn" is also reported to offer all the characters for free, in celebration of the Battleborn Day event, which is a highly driven activity organized by the community. This means that the players get the chance to take the characters for a test and find out who among them would be a great addition to their library.

In addition to  the free characters,  a 20 percent discount will be given on extra skins that players may want to equip them with. The game is now available for PS4, Xbox One and the PC, WWG reported.

Meanwhile, Battleborn Day was created by Battleborn Reddit to help new players get into the game, with support from the developer through offering special bonuses throughout the weekend. The event will run from 7 p.m. ET on Friday until 11 a.m. on Sunday.

"Battleborn" Day bonuses will also include a special Battleborn Day Queue along with the different types of modes and maps. As for the in-game events, players should get ready for the Play with the Devs, Lootpocalypse, Double Credits and Double XP as they all roll into one phenomenal weekend, Kotaku reported.
