Protests and dissents against the victory of Donald Trump as the newly elected president of America has taken over the country up to the point where some Americans are already considering to leave the country and escape from the chaos.

In their desperate desire to flee the US, the immigration site of Canada even crashed.

So how do you really go about securing a new job outside the country and start anew on a new land? Before you even start packing and heading on to leave, here are some important things that you should know.

If you are moving abroad, make sure that you are doing it for all the right reasons and that you are doing it simply because you wanted it. When you decide, you also have to take geography into consideration. Remember, you are not looking for places that are popular for their tourist spots, you are looking for a new country where you can secure a job for yourself.

Do some research if you are decided to stay abroad for good or for an extended period of time at least. It pays to know more about your prospect country especially when it comes to understanding your legal and political rights as a visitor and other immigration laws. Make sure that you can get everything organized especially your finances. Be prepared for exchange rate fluctuations.

When it comes to a job search, yes it is important to secure a job that will support you when you decide to live abroad, unless you are some kind of a billionaire or a son or daughter of a business tycoon that you don't need to work for a living. When doing your research it is also important that you already have an idea on the companies and industries that are on the rise on your prospect country.
