'Pokémon Sun’ and ‘Pokémon Moon' Updates: Trailer Release Shows Final Evolutions Of Starter Pokémon Also Reveals Alola Guardian Spirits [Video]

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will be released in less than a month. A video showing the final evolutions of the starter Pokémon was released revealing the Guardian Spirits of Alola as well.

The games are yet to be released but according to Nintendo, the game has already broken the record as the most pre-sold game. Its demo version also broke the record as the most downloaded demo Nintendo ever had, according to Forbes.

Grass-Flying Rowlett evolves into Dartrix and the final evolution would be Decidueye. According to iDigitalTimes, the Pokémon will completely lose its Flying-typing but will retain its Overgrow ability. Ducidueye's special move called Spirit Shackle prevents his opponents from escaping.

Fire-Type Litten evolves into Torracat and in turn evolve into its final form as Incineroar a Fire and Dark-type Pokémon whose special move is the Darkest Lariat, ignores status changes of its opponent. It will also retain its Blaze ability.

Popplio the water Pokémon evolves into Brionne, its final evolution is a water-fairy called Primarina retaining its Torrent ability. Its signature move, Sparkling Aria heals burn effects of any target.

Aside from revealing the final evolutions of the starter Pokémon, the four Alola Guardians were also revealed namely Tapu Bulu, Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, and Tapu Lele.

Tapu Bulu is a Grass-Fairy and is the guardian of Ula'ula island. Its special ability Grassy Surge covers the battlefield arena and the terrain in grass that drains health.

Tapu Koko an Electricity-Fairy is the guardian of Melemele island. With a strong curiosity, it may come to play or battle with other Pokémon. Its ability is Electric Surge which increases the power of Electric-type Pokémon

Tapu Fini is a Water-Fairy and guardian of Poni island whose special ability is Misty Surge that puts a Misty Terrain of the field. It halves the damage from Dragon-type moves done to Pokémon on the field.

Tapu Lele is a Psychic-Fairy from Akala island whose Psychic Surge turns the field into a Psychic Terrain that boosts the power of Psychic-type Pokémon and prevents them from being hit by priority moves.

All guardians can learn Nature's Madness that can reduce an opponent's HP by half. They can also do the new Z-move called Guardian of Alola that summons a giant body that they can use to smash opponents.

Release date for "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" is on Nov. 18 for the Nintendo 3DS. Europe release is scheduled for Nov. 23.
