Redmi Note 3 has all-metal body with dimensions of 150 x 76 x 8.7 mm. The menus are backlit and the overall design is appealing with matte finish. The budget smartphone looks incredibly stylish in three color variants, gold, grey and silver. On the back side, it's got fingerprint sensor, a camera and dual LED flash.

The dual SIM smartphone has 5.5 inch display with no protection from Gorilla Glass. The colors are vivid and sharp given its 403 ppi pixel density. The contrast increases under harsh light.

Xiaomi equips the Redmi Note 3 with much powerful specs at a value price. The premium quality goes under the hood with Mediatek Helio X10 and Octa core 2.0 GHz Cortex A53. It runs Android Lollipop, GSM Arena wrote.

And Xiaomi's custom user interface, the MIUI 7.0 by default enables one-hand mode. It does work smoothly and convenient but users have to be careful not to drop the phone when using this mode as the phone is quite slippery.

Xiaomi removes memory expansion feature. Thus, it is either you choose 16 GB with 2 GB RAM or 32 GB with 3 GB RAM. Redmi Note 3 is equipped with 13 MP rear shooter and 5 MP selfie shooter.

Xiaomi packs its flagship with non removable battery of 4,000 mAh - a much more improved capacity than the previous generation. Other features include turbo charging, fingerprint sensor and gyroscope.

Is Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 good for gaming?

You can adjust the setting to medium graphics quality but apparently it does not run well for games with heavy graphics. However, the downside when switching to high graphics setting is that there is a drop in the frame per second although not significant, BGR reported.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is priced at around $149 for the 16GB variant and around $179 for 32GB variant.
