'xXx: Return of Xander Cage' First Trailer Surfaces Online; The Star-Studded Action Film Hits Theaters Next Year!

xXx fans, rejoice! After much hype and months of waiting, the first trailer of the highly-anticipated film "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" has finally surfaced online.

Vin Diesel is all set to reprise his xXx role in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage." The third film in the xXx fim series sees "The Fast and the Furious" star returning to his role as an extreme-sports fanatic turned unwilling spy. Diesel portrayed the role of Xander for the first time in the original 2002 film titled "xXx." Returning from a self-imposed cast out, Xander is on a mission to track a deadly weapon dubbed, Pandora's Box, E! News reported.

The movie, as fans would have anticipated centers on Vin Diesel, who plays a "different kind of solider" that the world needs right now.

Along with Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson is also slated to reprise his role as Xander's handler, Augustus Gibbons who is a NSA Agent.

Judging by the first trailer, its clear fans are in for a treat as far as action is concerned as Diesel will be kicking some major butt in the upcoming film.

Also starring the much-awaited "xXx 3" is Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, Ariadna Gutierrez, Toni Collette, Ruby Rose and Donnie Yen.

Diesel and Dobrev both shared teaser trailer before the first official trailer, giving fans contrasting look at what's to come.

Packed with death-defying stunts and a slew of jaw-dropping action sequences, the one-and-a-half-minute trailer keeps fans on the edge, IndiaToday reported.

Sporting glasses Dobrev expresses her shock saying, "Xander Cage! This is crazy," apparently citing the fact that Xander is still alive (he was thought to be dead before this film's release).

Xander along with his group will lock horns with warrior Xiang (Yen) and his dangerous team.As the story develops, Xander ends up uncovering a fatal conspiracy that involves the top-level of world governments.

"xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" is slated to hit theaters on January 20 next year.
