Apple launches limited edition red iPhone 7 with a charitable twist

Recent iPhone 7 leak seems to have confirmed two more iPhone 7 features that no concrete source has reported yet. The latest spoiler was posted on a Chinese site Monday containing what this site asserts to be an image taken from a slide in an internal meeting at Foxconn, Apple's top iPhone manufacturing partners that has been tasked of taking components from suppliers to assembling finished iPhones.

The photo in question has been in Twitter by user The Malignant (@the_malignant). But it was not just a photo, the leak also includes a few iPhone 7 Plus specs enumerated on the slide. Included in the list were the 12-megapixel dual-camera setup and wireless charging support including the highly-anticipated arrival of the IP68 water and dust resistance features.

Disappointed iPhone 7 Fans

Amid the arrival of water-resistant feature to iPhone 7 this year, many fans have expressed their disappointment over the image. The elimination of headphone jack has been previously reported. But doing out his feature, iPhone 7 has not delved into major change in appearance.

If the iPhone 7 would turn out to be as how it is shown in the image, the phones will look just like their predecessors - iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, BGR wrote. Not swaying away from their general shape and design, iPhone 7 will slightly be thinner plus new plastic antenna lines docked on its back.

Give iPhone 7 A Chance

Even if iPhone 7 series will have its usual iPhone design, its new features are sure stand outs like its new cameras. iPhone 7 is expected to sport an upgraded single-lens camera while its larger version iPhone 7 Plus could enjoy a new dual-lens design. However, whether dual-lens will be a staple to iPhone 7 Plus or just for the premium edition remains unclear.

Since iPhone 7 has removed its headphone jock it will now sport a 3.5mm audio ports. And its exterior may arrive in new colors like Blue and Space Black, UniversityHerald wrote. Lastly, their storage would kick off with 32GB base tiers up to 256 GB capacity, UH added.
