Maria Sharapova suspension came a few weeks before she announced to go back to school. The tennis player decided to learn a lesson at Harvard business school after not being able to play any match for two years due to sports banning.

The 29-year-old Russian tennis player was officially suspended on June 8 after being tested positive for meldonium. The Grand Slam champ admitted to use the doping due to heart problems but did not know that the chemical is in included in the anti-doping list.

In her press conference, Sharapova said sorry to the public and claimed that she has been using Mildronate for the past decade. However, she had no idea that Mildronate - that has another name, meldonium, is included in the anti-doping list, US Magazine reported.
