The famous game "Overwatch" will be getting some upgrades which includes the possibility of a new playable character and competitive mode.

There is a high probability that a new character will be introduced to the famous game, "Overwatch". New prototype characters can possibly be encountered by players in the game. However, it is not yet clear whether Blizzard would add the characters in the game. The company keeps it in the air and not confirm because they want to avert the probability of disappointment from players and fans if ever something unexpected will happen with the development of characters, Ecumenical News reported.

New characters that are expected to appear will be Sombra and Liao. The creators of the new characters leaves it to the players to research on the who they really are. "Overwatch" game director Jeff Kaplan said that Sombra may not have shown herself when the fans are expecting her but it doesn't mean that she does not exist. He added that they have put a lot of hints in and out of the game and its up for the fans to research about her, IGN reported.

Aside from the new characters, Blizzard is also developing new maps which are rumored to be in the test phase already. However, it is not enough to confirm if they will be included or not.

Also, "Overwatch's" competitive mode is already set to launch. Once the new update will be released, there will be new upgrades in the gameplay which includes skill rating which is directly in sync with the player's skills. In the multiplayer mode, there is also average skill rating for the whole team. in the multiplayer competitive mode, Blizzard also removed the layer progression system which caused trouble in the gameplay to give better experience for the players.

Apart from all these, Blizzard will announce new features like extended spectator mode, cutom game and a new server browser for Overwatch.
