‘Pokémon Sun and Moon’ Update: New Pokémon looks like Donald Trump

By

Pokémon International Company has announced the arrival of three new Pokémon for its 'Pokémon Sun and Moon' edition-and one of them looks like Donald Trump.

During a presentation hosted by Nintendo at Treehouse Live E3, the game developers formally presented Pikipek, Grubbin and Yungos, Mobipicker reported.

Pikipek is described as a bird-type Pokémon that can drill through stone using its beak.

The second Pokémon, Grubbin, is described as a larva-type that can crush enemies using its jaws and can use its sticky threads to move around.

The third, Yungoos looks like an angry weasel that is always hungry and angry. Its new ability, called Stakeout, allows Yungoos-also known as the Loitering Pokémon-to dish twice the normal damage to any opponent that substitutes or enters the battleground during a fight.

More information on legendary Pokémon Magearna was also released. According to the description, Magearna is an artificial Pokémon that possesses the ability Soul-Heart that raises its Special Attack every time a Pokémon faints during battle.

Out of the three, Yungoos has been garnering the most attention due to its striking resemblance with U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump.

With its yellow hairdo and sharp fangs, Yungoos has been compared to Trump-the presidential contender best known for his outspoken, no-holds-barred remarks.

Many took to social media to parody Trump with the Pokémon, with some saying Yungoos would make a good president and others vowing to catch one and name it after the presidential candidate.

Still others found Yungoos' bio, especially the part saying "it was brought to the region to help deal with the other explosive of other Pokémon", as being creepily similar to Trump's own agenda.

Coincidentally, developers of 'Pokémon Sun and Moon' inaugurated Yungoos on Donald Trump's birthday-June 14, Latin Post reported. The game will be available on Nintendo 3DS on November 18.
