‘Battleborn’ Updates, Freebies & Rumors: 3 Good Reasons Why You Should Have It This Memorial Day Weekend [VIDEO]

Gearbox Software's "Battleborn" update this week introduced its first free DLC character of the series, now it offers its patrons $20 cut its prices plus a sneak peak to its 27th hero. Obviously, these 3 new offers make it palatable for gamers out there this Memorial Day weekend!

1)     $20 Price Cut

Announced in its blog, "Battleborn" is now on retail for $54.99 exclusive for the digital deluxe version including all future downloadable content and $39.99 for the standard version, these versions are both available in the 2K Store. This upcoming Saturday, May 28, the deal is going on all the way through. And just in case you have been rooting for "Overwatch" and feel the need for something different for your Memorial Day weekend, the choice is all up to you.

2)     "Alani's" Release Date

The surprise do not ends with the $20 cut, "Battleborn" has launched a new character to its squad named "Alani". Her release comes ahead of five planned characters to arrive over the next few months. Right now, she is up for grabs for anyone who partakes in the "Battleborn" open beta or availed the digital deluxe edition or the season pass, IGN said. This season pass or who signed up for the PS4 Beta. "Alani" is a warrior monk looking quite deadly and blends in flawlessly with the rest of the game's array when she rolls out May 31.

3)     Meet Pendles The 27th Battlehorn Hero

Gearbox's "Battleborn" blog description reads: Hailing from the water world of Akopos and friends with "Alani", "Pendles" is a cold-blooded killer. Literally, this anthropomorphized reptile could sneak up or poison anyone, puncture enemies with dual kamas then disappear without leaving a mess.

According to Engadget, "Pendles" is a Rogue class character which will be free for all players who have earned 47,500 credits in-game. Alternatively, this character is up for grabs immediately if you have your hands on a Hero Key.
